just got in from mymums 40th birthday bash,she was not happy me and my brother missed the meal for the game but it turned out to be worth it.

 

i have read some of the romford comments and what an honest bunch.

 

the truth is we could of had 6 or 7. you know when you have one of them days when everything comes off for you. the surace suited us (it is like a carpet).

 

i must say that despite that performance and result you can see that romford have some quality players and will beup there come the end. all there players were gracious in defeat (not many are inc us sometimes).

 

good atmosphere with a few fans.

 

well done to the abbey, and all the best to romford for the season.

yeah great result, tremendous performance everybody did there job, no one can be faulted.

 

stayed till 11 ish spoke to a few of there players, i think they will do ok once there new signings gel.

there keeper kept em in it, he was the youngest ever player to play in the premier league at the age of 17 back in 1996, he played in the same hammers youth side as rio and frank, and canvey's lee boylan it was a quality youth side.

goodwin (dagenham)
