1200,people turn up and have to queue for 15 minutes to get in,then the kick off is delayed because of all the people still trying to get in the ground.Anyone coming to support the Gulls for the first time must have been really pi**ed off,thank christ it wasnt raining,surely now weve stepped up to the conference the club have to do something to rectify this otherwise people wont bother.

I had to laugh last night when they announced that the kick off would be delayed as hundreds of people were still trying to get in. I was at the top of the terraces and could see 5 people queuing!

Maybe the club should say its 7.30 kick off in future but really start the game at 7.45.

I arrived at 7.35 and walked straight in.

Can't beleive the attendance was only 1223.

Good atmosphere at the game, Gravesend looked a better team than I expected. Thought we were a little lucky to get our equaliser but in saying in that we could have scored 3 or 4 against their ten men.

I was sat towards the Gravesend end of the ground, there goal was definetly offside, hence the fact none of the players complained.

Please can we see Keeling in ahead of Duffers in the Tamworth game.

and what is the 15 minute delay in opening the bar after the final whistle all about

It was the police who told us we had to wait 15 minutes after the game before we open the bar. We would've opened straight away if we could have. <img src="/images/graemlins/police.gif" alt="" />

Nothing. CANV asked why we had to wait to open the bar 15 minutes after the game. Is that alright with u or would u have prefered it if i ignored him????????????

Oh I stand corrected then, I never attempted to get into the bar as it seems it can only accomodate about ten people.

The away fans aren't allowed in the bar at any time and to be honest with you i don't know why the police wanted the bar closed for 15 mins after game anyway. Theres not gonna be any trouble if its only Canvey fans in there. I will find out if its going to happen every game but won't be there Sat coz im going to V.

The police/licensing authority may have insisted on the 15 minute rule because there is no boundary between your bar and the spectating area.

 

 

Just a guess...

...but they're funny like that.
