I was in front of the press box just before kick off, they were talking of the attendence being over 2000 people. I think all Canvey fans have been bemused over the years at some of the low official gates. I guess this has something to do with paying in cash and there being no tills!!! I would guess gravesend bought at least six hundred and there was alot more than 600 hundred Canvey fans there.
