poor stfc coverage from slough express & slough observer

over the last eight weeks or so the coverage has been very poor to say the least.

no comments or news from the club and just basic match reports. the slough observer also just seem to copy the home programme notes half the time as well.
where is the news from our manager or secretary. both papers seem more interested in covering the rugby club and hockey club which may get 20 supporters at each match if they are lucky between them.

sort it out

dont go blaming the local rag matey!!!

its our football club that is in the wrong yet again. They should b supplying the news, but as we all know the PR well no u cant even say that because the club has no PR!!! it really is a disgrace to b honest, almost shameful!!!

So much for the stadium announcement eh???

They're taking us for a long ride, what is the big problem in keeping the fans updated with whats going on regarding the ground? no ground = no team

i think thats pretty important to the fans!!!

oh well it amkes no difference does it moaning on here does it??? im all for the fundraising part, count me in but all i want is a club that is run the right way not how it is at the mo... its a mess, a disgrace, it can not continue, what can b done really? anyone know?

The last I heard was that Steve Browne had banned everyone from speaking to the Observer--hardly surprising then that the Observer doesn't get much information, though that has to be the club's fault, not the Observer.
We are often told by the people who run the club that they only have the clubs best interests at heart--but their actions don't fit their words. that said Deaner is footing the bill, so he calls the tune. The big worry is Deaner spending money he hasn't got, because that leaves the club with debts and no assets this threatens the clubs survival if he withdraws. If he withdrew without leaving any debts, the club could still survive, though for how long without a ground would be debateable.

Shock Horror......Look these thoughts have been around for three years, still we are lumbered with them! but sure as eggs are eggs, certain individuals (and u know who they are)think Deaner and co. are our saviours... THEY ARE GRINDING OUR CLUB IN TO THE DUST, They will run up massive debts and walk away not a penny out of pocket, we wont have a club and they wont give a toss, we will be next on their list Newbury, Wokingham, Slough, WHO'S NEXT?
