Who's got the far post/back of the box???

First Point...

 

Been 2 the friendly's & the match against Bognor Regis Town & noticed 2 much space on our far post when rivals get a corner, needs covering & me thinks the keeper should have someone else on near-post duty as Bognor sailed ball over him & an easy goal was had.......1 point lost!!!

When we get a corner why is there no-one on their far post as 8/10 times thats where our corners go, need someone on that 1 as there were 2 times when a head at the far would have had the pickings of half the goal......3 points lost!!!

 

Hope we play well this eve & come away with 3pts as there is no drinking on the coach so sorrows will be sore till we get home!!

Saw it last night & was better, Goalie is very scary still as can't make up his mind wheather he is coming out or standing his line. Made for interesting game, if not a bit stressfull.

 

Hope they keep it up.

From what i've seen Ward is ok.

 

Frankly-better on crosses than Smithy.

I thought the punch(at the ball) to clear the lines was sensible as ball was travelling fast and could easily have sliped through

Very Oliver Khan I thought, still think Smithy was class. Saying that Turner was the best, won't even talk about Mitten.

 

At least he didn't let 1 in (Just), think the squad still need 2 sort out the back as is a scrap at best & keeper has 2 have good communication with the boys.

 

At least we had Edwards 2 mop up the mess, thought he'd B captain, some strange choices 4 the 2 games so far!!!

Agree Smithy was king, but times move on ,and in fairness Ward only 21 and to me, shows promise.

 

They do need to organise better at back though-hopefuly can sort in training this week.

 

Hope u r right about William-have seen him play better

When all is said and done, the defence was under considerable sustained pressure, and we kept a clean sheet.

A plus in my book.
