I believe this is a new piece of equipment that was installed about 12-18 months ago.

 

I did a disco at home for my sister's 10th birthday when I was 12. A couple of record players and a microphone plugged into the mic socket of my dad's music centre.

 

It was somewhat more hi-tech than the system at the club.

Got a TEAC system at home myself, couple of Mission speakers, just crank the volume up and watch the decibels blow your eardrums to the middle of next year.

 

Here's an idea. Approach Hi-Spec, say we'll give you two advertising boards round the pitch, maybe a match sponsorship as well (do we still do those?), in exchange for a decent sound system (as long as Fred's not doing it! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ).
