Does anybody know the cost of tickets for the home games?

 

Also can you confirm that tickets are sold on the match day? I know this is probably a daft question but just confirming.

My first St Albans experience. I used to follow Hinckley Athletic home and away when I lived up that way. Moved down this way so though I would go to a few local games.

I know many people (friend, colleagues etc.) who would come to St Albans matches if the price was a little cheaper, but simply can't justify paying £8 for this level of football.

 

£8 is, in my opinion, a good £1-£1.50 too expensive.

From my perspective it would just affect the number of games I go to see. If say it was 6 quid I may be tempted to go every other week. At 8 quid I would probably go every other home game. (I know the math doesn't quite add up there).

I guess as with anything, if the entertainment factor of something is better than yes you are more willing to pay for it.

I know it's of little relevance, but since relocating to drizzly Scotland i've visited a few grounds and even at East Fife (Div 3 and absolute pants) it's £10 to get in which is more than some of the players earn there. Most SPL grounds are around £20 and the fare on offer is about the same as League one of the new Coca Cola thingy.

So £8 isn't that bad.

Anyway, i'm off back into my shell.
