Exactly. Both Canvey and Bedford allow it in the area directly outside their clubhouses.

not any more.. the bar shut 10 mins before kick off and you cant get back in till 15 mins after the match..no half time pints whatsoever .. as for drinking outside i think they have employed a police sniper to deal with that .. fking conf rules 3/4 years ago in the good old ryman we could drink anywhere in the ground with a plastic then it was back to the bar area then only in the bar and now not at all.. hardly progress is it

This 15 mins after the end of the game bollox - is that Conference rules, or has this been the case since Costello forced the closure of your clubhouse a couple of years back until he had been removed from the ground!!

Just trying to kick it off with officials and fans alike. Several scuffles during the course of the afternoon. They wouldn't open the bar til he'd gone home.

 

This was the trophy game, and when we arrived two months later for the league match, there were four police vans awaiting us.

I didn't understand why Gary Crawshaw, our only recognised striker on display last night, was brought off for the hard-working right-sided midfielder, Matthew 'Matty / Quentin' Hann.

 

Hann worked hard, which is nice to see, and wants to do stuff with the ball, but him and Parker up front?

We certainly allow drinking on the terraces throughout the game (alcohol purchased on the premises only) and from our experience last night, so do Cambridge City.

yes costello broke the clubhouse and i have no idea whose poxy rules they are.. seems a bit silly to have people milling around for 15 mins after a game watching all the away fans file out when they could all be in the bar out of the way supping pints

Anyone else notice no coloured faces on the pitch last night (apart from the 'red' ones in our defence that is!).
