Goalkeepers in squad

The quality of our two goalies appears undecided yet, (and Smithy a hard act to follow).

 

By reputation Ward is meant to be good.(possibly a bit too overconfident was my first impression at Tonbridge).

Above all, for all the difficulties in building the squad, and it lack of quantity, i am pleased CK has got two goalies signed up.

 

Adds to competition, and one of these days ,someone will get injured/suspended etc.Good to see a sub.goalie on the bench at all times,

I wish them both well

Didnt manage to get there saturday but from a couple of sources that did attend it seems Ward is a very suspect keeper.

i thought he did ok. he could have saved 1 that he let in but he did stop some good shots. lookd confident to me

agree,but he was playing in a new team with a defence that was missing Duku fronm his other game and it was near 1/2 time before he was called on to make his 1st ever save for the club. Please give the lad time.

My original post simply related to the positive fact that despite the small squad, we have at least got 2 keepers.(ask Graham Wesley about that one)

 

Agree too early to say re;ability ,but again wish them both well.
