Fixture clash

Tuesday 7 September promises to be interesting as, according to Football.Mitoo, we have ETFC v Sawbo in the League Cup AND Brimmo v Crown & Manor in the London Senior Cup. Will Brimmo take priority as landlords or is the ESL Cup considered more important than the London Senior Cup?

Not really. Always like to keep a note of what's happening in the local area and happened to notice that you both have fixtures on the same night. Will always be found at a local game if PBT aren't playing. Just waiting to be banned from ETFC home matches as you usually lose when I come to watch.

 

I suspect in reality it is more than likely that the ETFC match will be switched to the Wednesday. Luckily for you, I won't be there to jinx your result if that's the case as I shall be on a rare excursion outside of my "local patch" at the Wales v N. Ireland World Cup qualifier that night.

The Welsh FA sold a "tournament ticket" for all their home World Cup qualifiers. If you want to see Wales v England next year (without the hassle of going as an England Travel Club member), you need to buy a ticket for all of their other games as well. However, as the Millennium Stadium is far better than any ground England has to offer, it's not such a hardship.

For the record, and at the risk of sounding as sad as Mr. Cunneen, I have seen ETFC 29 times. Of these 14 have been home matches and you have only won 6 - hence my reputation for being a bit of a jinx on you. This does not include the GBMT fixture against Leyton which was abandoned at half-time at 0-2.

Arky, how can you blame me? I was never once accused of anything!

 

As for the SJFC, are you seriously telling me you would have behaved any differently in my position? I'm quite proud of that evening and it is a moment that I often look back upon with fondness.
