The Manor Boys proved too hot for Concord to handle today. Super performance from the whole team. Well Done Delroy Forde superb hatrick, the faith Whitelock as shown in him paid off today.

 

Concord were not the soft touch that the result suggests, they attacked for long periods of the game. Missing their 2 top strikers from last season?

 

Well Done the Manor, great start to the season, looking forward to entertaining Bowers & Pitsea at Tilbury on Tuesday night. 7.45pm kick off for all you Manor faithful......

Nice words from mom and southport our midfield 3 were the nuts today and ran the show Forde took his goals well and Billy Cove well imagine he lost a stone how good could he be but saying that we wouldnt be able to keep him but im sure Manor will carry on surprising everyone and Big Stretch well improvement 200%.

Billy Cove, different class, big mistake letting him go, Town might just rue the day. New boy Nicky Mitchell, a revelation, midfield trio very dominant, thought George Durrant was awesome today, Whitelock and Quinn superb. In fact the whole team looked a bit special today, bring on Bowers & Pitsea, can't wait.

Hi Cleggy, out of our control buddy, best leave Billy with us, he seemed to blend in with the regular players. I think he will do a great job at the Manor this season.

Also do you know if Mr Happy is bringing Miss Happy, if so Tilbury is much more accommodating them Burnham's facilities, no Steps to worry about for Miss Happy's chair. A great start for the Manor and well done to Billy on a supurb debut. As cleggy says we could very well regret letting him leave(not a popular decision). Any news on a permanent base yet for the manor ? I think you were originally at Buckhurst Hill. Good luck for the season.

Thanks TG, yeah we have had some developments on searching for a new home. We are currently sharing a lease on some ground in Walthamstow. There is about 3 aches of land, enough space for a Stadium, Clubhouse and training pitches with plenty of car parking, currently our reserves are playing there. Once we receive planning permission we shall extend the lease for a minimum 10 year period, once this is done then we should be eligible for grants from the sporting authorities and local council. This is our long term goal. We know it will take some time, but until then we are more then happy to share the fabulous facilities at Tilbury FC.

The Last time i went to Tilbury I saw Cheshunt somehow win 2-1 back in the Days they were really crap ,And the ground resembled a building site.I look forward to seeing the upgraded facilities next week and of course a good hard fourght encounter.

Thanks MB but we're off on our hols on Saturday. Little Miss Happy will be abseiling, canoeing and rock climbing next week!

Hello Pinnacle....

Difficult really......we scored three but conceded four....we made about 8 chances and scored 3..they had 5 chances and scored 4...!

If Chertsey are the so called favourites...then we have nothing to fear...

We were two players short....who were in the ressies...both defensive players...so they'll add a bit more pace and strength to the team.

We should have won mate.....as simple as that....we played the better football...made the better chances....but our keeper had a bloody mare...!

I cant give him too much stick..first game n all that....but he should have done much better..!
