Manor Top of the League

So when was the last time (if ever) that Eton Manor were top of the ESL and what has happened on pig island? I knew that Ben had done the off, but what of the players.

Still great result for EM and must have certainly raised a few eyebrows..

Can't take nothing away from the Manor, they we really on their game today.

Apparantly only two of the Concord side from last season remaind, the rest were mostly Basildon, including the Manager, nice fella Mark Jenkins and he took defeat graciously.Manor were awesome in every position, defended stoutley and were worthy winners on the day. Heard the Concord faithful moaning about getting beaten by the Manor, well them and the others in the league better get used to it cos it's gonna happen quite a lot this coming season. As for leading the table, the Chairman said he can't ever remember winning by that margin home or away ever on the opening day, and as for topping the table, it could well be a first.

Thanks Abbey, I'll pass on your comments. Reg has a problem with computers so he won't see this. Today at Concord their was a PC in the boardroom and Reg was trying to get Channel 4 on it? Bless him!

They've spread themselves about a bit, Heale is at Gt Wakering along with a few others, the rest have gone to Tilbury & Thurrock. Concord now have some Baz players and the old manager from last season, looks like the usual money merry go round.
