the ref was poor at best he made some outragous desisions against us that changed the game <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

still the side looks promising and i think next game they will play much better.

the score wasnt a fair one imo.

GOALKEEPER,scott ward-unimpressed today made a couple of good saves but should have been better positioned for the 1st and 3rd goals DARREN ANON,again didn't impress too much but got into thye game as time went on 1 or 2 good challenges today. BILLY EDWARDS,solid as usual pretty good today i thought. AARON BARNET,played a good game today and took his goal well good prospect. GREG OATES,had a half decent game today played well and made time and space down the right side. PAT GRADLEY,who??played well i thought not too bad but need to see him again,undecided. JOHN KEISTER,seemed to be involved alot today impressed me and kept his head,good game. MARK GREEN,very good prospect played very well down the left side and made a few good runs,look forward to seeing him again. CHE STADHART,excellent i thought seemed to be not quite 90 min match fit not sure if he is carrying an injury my man of the match today,very quick and tried hard i thought. MOSES JJUNJU, came on for che didn't really have enough time to show his form. ROCKY BABTISTE,was not impressed at all done very little and seemed to have lost a bit of heart heard today he is on a match to match basis so COULD leave at any time. ALEX CHAVALAMBOUS,i was very impressed by hime today looks like a good prospect and contributed to the second goal although it was an own goal most of the work was his. i have proberbly missed out a couple but like us all i am still trying to get to match faces to names but very unlucky to lose today. Obviously these are only my humble opinions

Charalambous came on for Gradley second half and played some very good stuff. Boy is he quick. Moses came on for Che. Che and Rocky ran around like crazies, and indeed Rocky came near to scoring three or four times. Mark Green played extremely well, running rings around the defence, and I think he will be well worth watching.

When the goalkeeper tipped our shot over and a goal kick was awarded no-one was in position and no-one could believe it. A similar thing happened in the first half when the Bognor goalkeeper hoofed a ball out and the goal kick was awarded to Bognor.

The defence has holes still and some of the guys showed the short nature of pre-season preparation but there was enough there to show that when we get going and gel we will do all right. The second half was much sharper than the first. Some of the passing was extremely good today and can only get better. There were no shortages of attacks from the blues. We were losing too much of the posession too easily and need to sort that out. We almost equalised towards the end but for a heart-stopping save from the goal line.

All in all though a fine day out in the pleasant Ashford sunshine.

Disappointing just the same.

3 points lost is 3 points lost and you do not get a second chance to recover them.

 

At least it seems there is a semblance of a squad.

 

Persume other subs were pulman and Hussain?

 

Think Rocky needs to go back to his previous haircut-definately played better then.

 

Looks like we are short of a strong and tall central midfield player; plus above all a defensive midfield player in the' Jake Leberl 'role.

 

Problem is ,not much time to get it right between now and monday.

Excuse me for asking FF , enjoy your posts, but curious as to why you only post on matchdays, and stats only.

I don't get a chance to read the forum too often and when I do, I either read silly posts that are not worth responding to or serious posts which someone has always said my point of view and there is no value, for me at least, repeating what someone else has already said

 

So instead, I just try to help with score updates or info (when I can). It is harder this year though as the Conf South division is not covered as intenselty as the conference. But I'm sure we'll sort something out over coming weeks

Fire Fly was doing a great job for the fans that coudnt get to games but then others started to join in think it spoiled his reporting.

I see from photo on official site that we have not got a sponsor. I do not want to harp on about the shots but in their first season they held a draw for the shirt sponsor. Businesses bought a ticket for £100.00 and then they all went into a draw and the first out got their name on the shirts. All the others were given adverts in the programme. If we cannot get a proper sponsor perhaps that would be an option. Lets hope something is in the pipeline.
