Can't share your enthusiasm I'm afraid. Travelling to Dover was depressing and I can't see myself going to Ashford very much.

 

I suppose on the positive side, it does appear that we will be kicking off tomorrow, which is something I didn't think would happen.

 

Let's hope we get over these next few weeks, we see the bulldozers moving into Hartsdown and I can start thinking about walking to football again.

well im excited at the fact we have a club still and we may have quite a nice squad to boot the only downer is there is no way i can get to the games and get back in time for work <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> [***!!***] job!!

I finish at 2-15 and normally could get to margate in 5 and dover in 20 but ashford is 1 hour whichever way it takes to get there so its really not worth going there after getting home and changing etc.Still hope to hear from others about the game.My fathers going so expect he will give me the gen and updates throughout the afternoon. It is a crying shame it has to be so far away but as others have said at least we still have a team and club and a kick-off.

P.S. Strong strong rumours going about that a certain JP wants back in. The money would be great. Anything to help this club get back to its rightful position. Anyones money is welcome including his BUT I for one cant forgive him for his departure previously, jumping a sinking ship, in his opinion, obviously. Not sinking as fast as he thought eh! IF AT ALL! These rumours seem MORE than rumours so watch this space AND the media who will have a field day should this occur!

There was quire a lot in the Gazette this week but apparently Rocky had not signed yet at the time of going to print. Let's hope he has now. We still have many of our favourites to cheer on though.

Normally in the summer I am hacked off if it rains but I work in Ashford and have been watching the rain fall with a bit more pleasure. The pitch was very hard last week so hopefully it will be better after this amount of watering.

I am counting the hours now as I am really looking forward to the start of the season and this match is a particular pleasure as there was a time when I thought it might not happen.

I do hope we as fans can take this opportunity to forget our various differences, do the one thing that we have in common, get behind CK and the team, and give them the send off they deserve.

Come on the GAAAAAAAAAAAAATE?

 

By the way, what think you all of our chances tomorrow? Anyone know anything about Bognor's form?
