Darren Caskey Signs for the Urchins

 

Hornchurch are pleased to announce the signing of 29 year old Darren Caskey from Bristol City.

 

Darren begun his career at Tottenham Hotspur, before signing for Reading in a 700,000 deal. During his 5 year spell for 'The Royals' he scored 45 goals in over 200 appearances.

 

In June 2001 Caskey signed for Notts County and became their skipper during his three year term with The Magpies. A short spell at Bristol City in the later stages of last season preceded his move to Hornchurch Football Club.

 

Darren played for England Under-19 winning 8 caps, England Youth with 14 caps, and England Schoolboys with 5 caps.

 

Darren will go straight into the squad for tomorrows match away at Weston-Super-Mare.
