To you all on Saturday.

The long wait is nearly over......

I think ETFC will walk away with the title.....

Surprise of the season will be Eton Manor..I predict a top 5 finish for them and a cup.

So.....

League: ETFC

League Cup: Romford

GMBT: Eton Manor

All the best lads...... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

it will be a very tight season, i beleive there will be a lot of improving enfield will improve whilst waltham abbey have a young side who would have gained a lot of experience finishing sixth last season. eton manor will improve, whilst concord and sawbo will be up there again. here's to saturday.

To early for predictions, however, The Abbey will be a stronger outfit this season that's for sure, along with Romford, Concord, Sawbo, Burnham and Basildon. ETFC will in my opinion be the team to beat and us nomads from the Manor will make things difficult and be out to spoil the party.

We all have a really enjoyable season to look forward to and the best of luck to all ESL teams for Saturday.

Foxy all the best mate, good luck in R2, I am sure we shall all be looking out for your results..

Regards - MB

Chablis, is that the same Mark Massey, who was the Southend Utd Youth Academy Manager?

Yes it is, and they played against us in full Southend United kit!

He was a very good coach and manager at Southend. He got the best out of his players. He could be a bit hotheaded sometimes, but definitely supported his players well.

Didn't look that mean when we beat them 5-1 a couple of weeks ago. The defence in particular needs some serious working on if Bowers are going to finish above mid-table this year.

Yes, 0-2 to 'Side ... I give up and leave forecasting to those who know ! In the meantime, I see that Concord Rangers won the Eastern Floodlight Competition for 2003-2004 , so the ESL get it for the second year and Mark Jenkins, who did all the work for it in 2002 then lost out as he left the club who won it in the following season, now wins it at his new club where Mr Embery had done all the work getting to the semi-final - OK, so you have all lost the thread but , one day you might get my meaning !
