Haven't heard anything of the sort coming from the club. <p>Even if it was true, with the squad available already this season, I can't see it affecting us.<p>More to the point, if it was true, the keeper from Hampton & Richmond would not have been able to join.

an embargo put on the club preventing them from signing on any new players under written contract or not and also on loan.

Might not effect us at the moment, but in the future it will!!!!!!

It's ulnlikely to be true. I've just had a twenty minute conversation with Roy Merryweather (The secretary of Slough Town) and nothing was mentioned regarding this.

I don't know when it came into force as he wasn't any too sure...there must be some mileage in this as it's stirred up a bit of conversation.<p>We'll have to wait and see eh??

I just don't get some people. First of all we signed Zepherin which leads me to ask how we would sign him if we had a transfer embargo?<p>Things are going well at the moment, so why try and stir things, get behind the team and stop spreading gossip which does the club no good at all
