Heads of terms-query?

Not really wanting to put any dampers on the subject but all I am reading, about the councils decision, if it is a decision, is that they have approved FURTHER DISCUSSIONS on the matter. Is it just me but nothing seems to really have changed except that these are yet again more stalling tactics by the council. No-where does it say they have been agreed except for FURTHER DISCUSSIONS.

This has nothing to do with my negative feelings for the council but purely an obsvervation after reading the newspapers lately.

Seems they still require an awful lot of details BEFORE they sign this agreement so please tell me if I'm wrong but things havent really moved on have they? Or am I missing something.

I was ecstatic at the news and mightily surprised but since then have read and read and no-where does it show improvement.

Seems to me that the councils wording shows them in a good light but when you read and read it all again there has been no change at all bar giving us more time to produce details further, as has always been the case.

PLAYING ON WORDS is my summing up of the situation.

Tony we have to be patient about this,i know it seems like a lifetime but dont forget what was said in the times on tuesday,if terms were not agreed then it was all over,CK said he is now looking forward to the season, also said in 2 years he belives MFC could be league status.I for one belive in the best manager in Kent.

Nothing boring about caring for the club you [***!!***]!!

Of course theres nought else we can do, but your answers confirm to me that indeed we HAVENT made progress with the council but again I agree with you all that being patient,(not too good at that) is what we have to do. Got no choice. Perhaps its just me trying to keep everybodys feet on the ground.

The way I read it in the Thanet Times (Tues)is that the advance payment from the funders to enable the Club to start the season has not yet been made. Also it is obvious no proper plan about the off field developement has been made to the council yet. When you see what is proposed surely there has got to be possible objections from people living in the area also problems to be over come about traffic access etc involving Kent Highways. All this surely will take ages in the meantime where is the money to enable the Club to operate comming from.Surely the money from the Stadium funders is for the building of the Stadium itself nothing else.Yet last Thursday KP was telling everyone who would listen "we are on our way" "everything is fine " "the council have done a complete u turn" " wewill be back at Hartsdown in the New Year".Also if the money is not forthcoming have players been paid from last season. If they have not.......No need to say any more just look in the F.A.Rule Book.I am like Cookie not being negative just being realistic about what I think is all misguided well orcastrated euphoria about the Councils decision last thursday and now what i read in the Thanet Times. The bottom line is the way I see it no way can the council agree Heads of Terms on something which has yet to be put before them.I am afraid you cannot blame them for that.As Cookie says have I missed something or completley got it all wrong. Please correct me if I have!!!!!!
