On Essex Fm news, just heard a story about Police clamping down on under age drinking on the Island.

im guessing it is to do with the curfew that is being introduced. we are turning into a Nazi state and no one is noticing.

 

if your a kid that is being affected by the curfew then break it, its against your civil liberties.

 

if they spent the money it will cost to enforce this curfew on giving the kids something to do then their wouldnt be a problem.

 

and also remember that every policeman that is having to stop kids from hanging on the streets is one that isnt protecting you and solving the crimes that matter

On a more serious note...

Cracking down on underage drinking will not happen, only way around it would be to never let any teenagers out of their houses. Sounds like a waste of time and money to me!

Ken i see you don`t live on Canvey so you might not realise how bad things were/are getting on certain parts of the island. The kids where making certain streets almost no-go areas and the police had no powers to move them on, the public asked for something to be done and now we`ve got it.

i have only just moved off the island, if the kids have made it a no go area for the police then they aren't going to be able to enforce the curfew. i also do some work with troubled kids (i used to be one) and forcing rules on them doesnt work. this has been proven. give them something to do and they wont cause trouble.

restricting their movement is a way of ofloading the problem. if you show most of the kids a bit of respect then most will show it back , those that wont will still be out after curfew. remeber back to when you were young if someone told you not to do something you were probably all the more likely to do it (i did but i was a little shít) dont pass the buck in your comunity, help out, get involved, these kids need supervision not more rules

wheres the fun in that.. send in the transits , get the SPG and the white shirt MET involved and give the runts a bit of trunchon awareness therapy.. once suitably battered they will appreicate a lot more things, like teeth n stuff..

and when they are older that will be able to tell storys about it and say things like 'when i was a lad'

I agree beat the little chavs, especially the ones with scooters! They piss me off royally! So tempting to just swerve and hit 'em, or even better, stick metal rods in the spokes as they are going along....how funny that would be.

Well I narrowly missed one the other night. He was on one of those mini petrol scooter things - in the dark with no lights swerving back and forth around the one way system. To make it worse he had a walkman on!! Obviously didnt see or hear me and swerved right in front of me!! Did I say a few choice words to him. If i'd got him it would have been one less little s**t to worry about and I probably wouldn't have damaged me motor too much either as he didnt even come up to the bumper (I drive a 4X4).

I had a run-in at a bus-stop in Southend with three of these little Pr*cks last night in fact, ok they were walking and not 'scootering' but the one mouthy f*cker who thought I was talking to him got all up in my face - I wasn't even talking to him OR his little Chavish morons!!

 

They soon despersed after I actually stood up and towered over the little w*nker!!

 

They're trying to impose this curfew thing in Southend, but they just don't have the resources there to cover a large area of Chav infestation.

 

I say if they get mouthy or violent - especically to a Copper - then the Copper should just get out his Knight Stick, (is this the term they use now?) and give him a good wollop across the backside of their thighs! What's worse is one of those 'Scooter Folk' spends half his life round my house snogging my Sister!! Urgh!!!!!!

Just stand up to them and they soon back down. I had 3 of them the other night getting all mouthy and wanting to fight. I just picked the biggest one and stormed over to him, mouthing back and raise my fists.....needless to say they soon fecked off. Seriuously what these little chavs need is a good kicking. Once they get a beating they won't be so fecking mouthy and maybe we can get them off the streets!

 

Why don't we start a resistance group armed with batons and cricket bats. Everytime we see a swarm of chavs we:

1. Approach

2. Ask them to Dispurse

3. If they get abusive or violent beat the buggers to near death

to be honest the only people i get píssed off with are the late teens early 20's who hang around crouded pubs on a friday and saturday night thinking their hard. i never get trouble with kids i dont know what you lot do to píss them all off.

Bringing back National Service would be quality! I'm sure some of us have seen that 'Bad Lads Army' programme and ones like it - I would love to see a Chav give some verbal to his Superior, only to be punished with whatever his Superior wanted!! No Human Rights crap in those Barracks for that Pr*ck!!

Very good idea. The police are useless lets take the law into our own hands. I live in Southend which must be worse than Canvey.
I would love nothing more than give one of those mouthy little [****!!****] a good battering they wont be so mouthy again.
Maybe we can form our own vigilanty group at the next Canvey home game.
