Anyone who was thinking of going to go to this game, then thought that as it was not our first-team playing they would not bother - congratulations, right decision!

Boring match with the only highlights being Matty Miller scoring his first goal since Walton (away) last season - 'I was there when Matty scored' T-Shirts on sale shortly.

Nobody trying to get in the first x1 would have done much tonight to impress Eddie apart from maybe Michael Parkin who only make one real mistake. oh and we failed to nick a ball at half-time for a kick about ;-(

Highly entertaining reserve game if you ask me. A real advert for the Capital League: comedy goals, refs and misses, deserted grounds and easy beer access (although not for me as I drove for once).

It was in my opinion a good work out for the rest of the squad some of whom have not been overly involved in the other friendlies.

What about when one of their players missed an open goal by hitting the post,so funny i actualy laughed!

I think you do the player a disservice Dom. It wasn't just a miss, it was the worst miss in the history of football!

Having lifted the ball over Parkin he was level with the post, no more than one yard from goal. He could have gone for the traditional option of sidefooting into the 8 yards of unguarded net in front of him but in keeping with the spirit of pre-season games, chose to volley against the outside of the post and behind for a goal kick. Even his own goalkeeper sank to his knees with his head in his hands! Priceless.
