What a partership this is,At the tender ages that they are they have a incrediable understanding bewteen each other, Ive watched a few games last season when they where paired together and each time one of them scored,last night in the 1st half they looked very dangerous and it was proved when City got in behind the defence and crossed in a ball for a excellent close range header by tony mayard, City got on the score sheet after missing a few good chances but i belivie this is a home grown pair for the future and the club would be silly to let any one touch them, i also must say what a very sterdy performance by Ryan Doyle, Was on the receiving end of a furious tackle but still looked solid as did the back four any one care to comment on the future of our club

the youth team players at Hx are indeed very promising and without mentioning any names I'll warrant that a good half dozen of this latest crop make the conference grade or perhaps even beyond....

We played the essex senior league favorites last night and when you think we had 4 under 19s 7 under 18s and 2 under 17s and an under 16 in the squad i think the future is looking very very good....my vote for man of the match went to john spackman at left back only his 2 nd game there....... ryan doyle a great skipper and like you said city and maynard top class
