High feet is a technial offence which is an indirect free-kick but surely when the contact was made that made it a straight foul but as it was a friendly did it realy matter?

It was dangerous play it was not foul play. The leg was raised to get the ball not to kick an opponent.

 

The penalty is an indirect free kick. Still as you say it was a friendly and did not matter.

 

I, along with the ref, did not see the incident and cannot judge whether the number 9 should have been red carded. As it was he left the pitch and that is the end of the matter. It does make it difficult to understand, however, why we could not bring a player back on to make our team full strength.
