Roy announced the date change several times, so its no mistake.

 

While obviously grateful that Windsor let us use the ground,I will admit to being somewhat disappointed about the change (which I understand was due to a prior booking by a model club), given that we've just given out hundreds of fixture lists with the Tuesday date on them. To have to shift the date of our opening home match is not going to help us get the crowds we need, and its not as if Tuesday matches are a rarity in the league.

This has been the situation at Windsor for many years where the third Tuesday of every month has always been given to the model club.

 

Although it isn't the greatest arrangement we have always managed to live with it and you would have had to do the same last season as well.

Will Slough's match against Folkestone on 19th October also be affected?

I would suspect so.

 

My advice would be for Roy to sit down with Steve Rowland and go through the fixtures before it gets too late to change them.
