Sawbridgeworth Town beat Leverstock Green 3-2 thanks to Pullen (2) and Hayter this afternoon in the Herts Charity Shield Rd 1 - the first competitive game of the season. Not a bad start !

I wonder if you could help me out, Im trying to find the whereabouts of your old right back from last season Christain Wheeler.

I am currently on the coaching staff at a ryman premier league team that has spent the best part of this summer trying to get hold of him.

From what i can gather he is playing abroad at the moment so i dont know if this is correct and if so when or if he returns is he rejoining Sawbridgeworth.

I was also told that him and a Greg Pike sort of come as a two although i found out that Mr Pike was now wearing the colours of Arlesey F.C and after watching them last week there was no sign of Mr Wheeler.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated as we are still hopefull of getting him to join our club.

from what ive heard Christain is getting back from the states in the middle of September after he has finished coaching.

The gossip from the Sawbo boys is hes going to join Ilford as is friends with Alan Fenn.
