I for one shall go to Ashford with a crisper step and a head held higher thanks to the heavy weight of uncertanty partialy lifted off my shoulders, and with a future to look forward to. Through the sense of optimism, the faces of our misery will still appear as devils lerking in the shadows on the edge.Devils we still have to be aware of and ones we should not forget and i for one (as a EX conservitive) will not forgive. Roll on election time. I am thankful we have CK and KR(not mark wright/moss)and will support them and whoever turns out tommorow. Be LOYAL be PROUD be MARGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE, and TURN OUT. For KP and the directors my

Why have a go at the council? They just wanted to see things were done properly. It seems that, at last, the club has delivered the goods.

For the last few months people have been saying TDC are hellbent on crushing MFC and other paranoid nonsense. But when they do give us the green light they still get abuse. Remember, KP admitted that it was the club's fault proper plans had not been submitted. Let's all move on, eh?

Whilst the council seem to have come to their senses and actually made a RIGHT decision for once, and for whatever reason, this allows us to thank them. However we must not forget the constant delaying tactics that have been before together with the islands decline since they took over and these things canot be forgotten. Just because they have made ONE right decision, and thats not just because I am a fan of margate f.c.,but because I am a resident of thanet and born and bred here, they cannot be let off the hook that lightly.

As for their decision to actually allow us to proceed after all this time leads me to believe that they thought we would have given up the ghost by now but it is in my opinion that they underestimated us ALL and that they realised we were not going to just go away.

Many thanks for their decision this week but the past couple of years wont be pushed under the carpet just because of this one decision. To my eyes they still have more to do to even get near to getting my vote next time. They still have time to persuade me but its going to take more positive decisions like the one they made this week to get me to that stage and I am including decisions concerning the whole of the isle of thanet and not just the football club.

We ain't out of the woods quite yet and the council need more of the same to get favour back with many of the electorate.

Get us back our club in our own ground, forget about the stupid expense sapping turner centre, get someone in to get dreamland going again, rid us of the hooligan element within our area, because it was they who put them here in the first place. All these things need looking at and having positive decisions made about them, and more. When they sort all these things out, take notice of the people of thanet instead of ignoring them, then maybe, just maybe they will sway me to vote for them again. Long way to go yet but this week was a first positive step for them and for the people of thanet.
