Couldn't help but notice the lack of any of the 'singing' types at either Tonbridge or Welling. Hardly any of them were at the Ramsgate game either.

 

What's happened to everybody ?

 

There was also no sign of any of the Supporters Club types I know by sight at either Tonbridge or Welling and only one or two of them at Southwood.

 

Where have they all gone ? - Melvyn, Tam, Chris Miles & his dad, Jimbo and his grandson, Porka (king of 'Margate till I die' chants'), Steve Ball, Andrew Ganderton, Veaney, Steve Ball, Bernard, Ali Bongo and lots of other familiar faces who seem to have disappeared. Many of these have disappeared from the message board too - people like the entire Kirby family.

Bally was at Ramsgate. I think some of those other names are on holiday.

Tam was there with John Cooper.

Richard Kirby was sitting in the stand.

Didn't spot Dave Miles (but isn't he MISA Dave?).

Andy G, Melvin & some others posted a few days earlier that they were in Spain.

they wont be back they found other things to do at week-ends work playing footie gillingham now the rip-off merchants will have to pay there own fares to away games

i havent been on the forum due to a lack of computer after virus but have just got new one.I have to say i am as surprised at how few of the 'singin hardcore' there are now,i have heard that porka has lost interest but please don't quote as it could just be hearsay! if that is true though he will be missed as far as jim and jamie is concerned i think they are on holiday or at least they are because they are top blokes,steve ball was at ramsgate but i don't think he can get to many games this season as getting back from ashford in time for work is going to be a problem,ali bongo hasn't been for a while,andy ganderton was at ashford today and we were having this same conversation.Lets hope we are all there this season cheering on the gate and to take this club where it desrves to be after all we have been through LEAGUE FOOTY!!!!

Im still margate till i die, can't make it to most games. I work everyday nearly need the money for drinking.

 

I doubt i will be attending many games this season, as was the case towards the end of last season. Doesn't stop me supporting them, do miss the singing and meeting up with everyone before the game though.

 

And before anyone says no im not a 'glory fan' just havn't got the time.

Never fear John Kirby and the Leicester boys are still here, i'm almost internetless untill september now, and i havent been able to make pre season cos i'm working now, alas i am saving my money for what matters, got my brick and hopefully got a lift to the first game of the season. hope to see you all there
