Don't talk to me about the pitch. I've been the biggest critic of it. Can you beleive that thats the BEST it's ever looked (i kid you not).

 

Where did i say that Horchurches u19's were not any good.??? I would say that you probably have the best youth team in non league football.All i was highlighting was the over zelousness of the tacking, and the fact that Enfield Town have many young players. (apart from the 'fat midfielder' <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> of course).Having said that, he was a regular 'Ryman premier' player throughout the ninties.I hope some of your youth team can emulate and maybe surpass his playing career.From the looks of it, some of your kids have the talent to do so. Particulary liked the look of the little No 10

And I thought Hornchurch where a Nice Club. Well up to that Last Post that is.

 

Buta Big Thankyou to the Hornchurch Official who Donated his Golden Goal Winnings Back to the Club to be used to buy a drink for the Enfield Town Players, a very nice Gesture, Thankyou. Also very nice to see Gary & Shirley Calder again. See some of the Hornchurch people are nice, but you always have to get one Numpty don't you.

 

What you have to remember is that this is only our 4th Season & I don't think we have done too bad in trying to get out facilicites up to a better level, considering what we started with that is NOTHING!!!! We survive on Gate/Programme Receipts & whatever we can Fund Raise. We do not have Bar/Restaurants

Monies to help.

We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves - and thank you for your hospitality - must admit the the quiche in the boardroom was very nice
