Clearly Paul those professionals you were speaking to were professionally incompetent. Any researcher worth their salt would laugh out loud if it was presented in front of them. Please don't insult my intelligence by suggesting this piece of 'research' is worth any more than the laminated piece of paper it was written on

Spot on BFR. Small samples can be accurate, but they have to be a representive sample.

 

The survey was biased---Do you want a 6,000/10,000 capacity Football Stadium ( The Stage 1 feasibility study came up with 1,500)

 

It was not independantly conducted (unless you consider Cllr Janik to be independant). Who knows what he said on people's doorsteps.

 

I wonder which professionals that was---do they have a name? Do they even exist?

Not biased? Wasn't the last question, would you like to see... "a proper park", implying any other of the other suggested uses on the questionnaire were not proper. And surely independent means conducted by people with no preference over the outcome.

 

Personally, I'm glad at the outcome. Martyn Deaner continues his search for a new home, the Council are shown up to be incompetent liars, we don't have to go to Britwell and their Councillors will get exactly what they deserve in terms of regeneration, i.e a few new street lights and some open spaces for people to abuse. Furthermore, Paul Janik can disappear and practise his unique brand of comedy on someone elses forum.
