New Additions Coming To This Board

The new features will be...

 

1) Who's Online

2) Polls - you can set polls within the forum on any topic - this could be a MOTM, or a vote on any other topic.

3) Sticky Threads - you can top a message - so that it will remain at the top of the list - for example - fixture updates

4) Enhanced set-ups for club forums, more control over, left, right, and top sections.

5) Even faster software, better coding, will mean faster forums.

6) Chat room - your fans can schedule a weekly gathering in the chat room for live conversation.

7) Ability to receive an email, to let you know that someone has replied to your message - this is an improvement over the current system, where only the topic starter could get the emails.

 

All these features and more will come on stream over the next 10 days, with further enhancements due in the coming months - many of the features will be optional for forums, and also individual users can turn features on and off, as to their particular tastes.

 

In addition, clubs will be given the choice of moving over to a much improved set-up that will allow sub-forums, and even greater control for the moderators - this will happen over the next month or so. Clubs will also have the ability to move to a brand new piece of software that will offer both threaded and static views to cater for everyone.

 

The important thing is that the site will always remain 100% free, however much software or time is invested into it by First Hosting.

 

For the site in general we have many new features coming online including NL-News, which will allow webmasters the ability to have live headlines on their site. Webmasters will all have the ability to update the site themselves, which will be a first for non-league football.

Don't thank me, I'm merely passing on the additions from the site moderator (Another benefit of having the site, it's all done for us!)<p>I'm in regular contact with the moderator and this makes it much more flexible in terms of modifying the forum as you want it.
