It is a shame that the game's been called off what with the injuries and all.

 

Hopefully Steven Clark's isn't too bad after being stretchered off and all that, but you don't know what other players have picked up along the way and it maybe the same for both sides. Canvey might've picked up some knocks during last night's game against Charlton and don't want to aggravate any with only a week to go till the Season starts.

Sorry but I don't understand how a team like Hornchurch who have been buying players like it's gone out of fashion cannot raise a team for a friendly. If they are that worried about getting injuries in friendlies why play the matches in the first place!

 

Sorry to moan I'm a bit dissapointed this fixture was called off at such short notice.

From what i hear Clarkie will be lucky to make the start of the season, Unc as you was there, i hear the tackle was very nasty. I suppose it's one of the things about friendly matches theres always the risk that that can happen, YA use ya intelligence we are all gutted but life goes on

 

Hopefully our physio can get Clarkie ready for the big one. Sadly i'm away for that match but will have my man on the spot maximus to get halftime full time updates from <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

Never mind fella, friendlies by and large are kak anyway, rarely bother with them unless the oppo is decent. No offence, but I wouldn't class Canv as decent oppo. Hammers, Gooners or The Yids, now that would be a different story!
