Not even a poor lino or a weak ref could spoil the Gaaaate performance for me. 2-0 was the score though we had two good goals disallowed and a penalty denied. The team, Ward(i think)in goal,(4 years at luton and just 22), Commanded his area and pulled of a few good saves.Mark green,as last game, Darran Annon,usual performance, Greg Oates. Bill Edwards, Francis Ducu(i hope spelling is ok)were commanding in the centre Adrian Clarke,Hutcheons(ex Leyton Orient, again hope spelling ok,play maker we missed last season).Peter Benevides,pace to spare as against rams.Ian pullman and super Rocky. This side is as good as any i have seen play for the gaaaaaaaaate. 1/2 time it was o-o, both teams had chances. 2nd 1/2 no changes for about 10 minutes the Moses Jinju came on for Pullman and scored on 62 minutes. The boy as come of age, From that point the changes came thick and fast. tonbridge who had competed well became overwhelmed by the pace of the gate subs, Rocky popped up to head home,after two disallowed goals. By the last 15 minutes only the keeper,Darran Annon and francis Ducu remained from the starting line up. Normally in this situation a team usualy looses shape,not on this occassion. The pace especially from pat Brady was awsome. the guy who replaced bill was big and solid,and the guy who replaced Rocky was fast and direct. The pace and skills of the subs was at times awsome, In coversation at the end CK said i told you to have patience. Now lets all hope we get a result at the Council on thursday so the Club can sign these guys. With them we have a bright future. You realy neede to be there to understand fully the excitment i am feeling tonight. Come on you fence sitters know is the time to get behind the club.
