How many home pre-seasons have we had? About four or five I reckon??

 

I haven't turned up at any of them to do my usual pre-match bit.

 

Have I had a call or an email from the club to ask me about my absence, and to ask me whether I intend to do it for the forthcoming season?

 

Have I fk.

 

I'm not bothered as such - just find the lack of interest from the board room about what goes on at the club staggering.

Cheers for the vote of confidence, JK. Unfortunately, being stuck in the press box from 2.00-2.45pm playing to about eight people is actually more demoralising than watching the match itself.

 

I was prepared to make a real effort to try and spice up the entertainment on a matchday, (ie. half-time entertainment, competitions etc.) with the help of Mr Thorns too, but the amount of interest from those who run the club has been minimal, to say the least.

Bring across the cheerleaders from the Worms match. They would spice up the matchday entertainment.

Yes JKIF. I, too, have noticed with some concern that The Scissor Sisters have become a regular fixture on the play-list of the current encumbent of Media & Communications Centre at Clarence Park.

 

You can add me to the list of you "and the older one" [?] who would welcome Zealster to the microphone thingy.

 

The Scissor Sisters? More appropriate for The Hockey Club or O.A.W.R.F.C. if you ask me. Not that I am prejudiced against those who enjoy the love that cannot be named, of course. Each to his [?] own. So long as they don't put their hand on my knee. It's the music. It's cr@p, too.

its a shame that, well not a shame in the sense of world events, that , your "rig" couldnt be "set up" somehow in the clubhouse....so we could ask for big shouts' to...etc etc

 

 

recall some awful band plotting up there pre-match once..not good on no sleep.......

There was talk of it being pumped up to the bar JK, for that very purpose.

 

Like everything else in life, 'talk' was all it turned out to be.
