Any idea when the draw is? Exeter away on a Tuesday night would be a good crack!

 

Or... now that we're no longer allowed to refer to ourselves as 'Conference', are we no longer in the Conference League Cup??

I don't expect an answer to this question, by the way. No-one ever seems to have a clue, not that any blame for that should lie at the feet of webbo or Rob.

 

If we had an "Uncle Urchin" like at Hornchurch, or an "Iron Webbo" like at Braintree, who are people in the know, who use their respective boards all the time, questions like this would be answered accurately, in a flash.

 

But no. The powers-that-be at our club don't even know there's a fking message board.

 

And even then, I bet the likes of Gibson or any of the other directors would have the slightest idea about the League Cup draw, replica shirts or anything else to do with "their" club.

 

Pisses me off.

I used to do the Saintsline, so I know that when it comes to getting information from the club, "blood" and "stone" are the two words that immediately spring to mind.

 

My point is that the people at the top end of this club just do not know what's going on.

There's some meeting to do with the League Cup on August 12th, I read somewhere, no doubt just to agree the format and dates etc.

I hear you AFF, but one cannot deny that info is on that Braintree board, quick as a flash.

 

My point about the League Cup... if the Conference are no longer recognising our league, nor our Northern counterparts, as 'Conference' leagues, will we still be entering this cup?

Might be a bit delicate, but isn't AFF a board member with all the information and would attend all the meeting for your club that I.W does at the Iron and U.U does at Urchins.

I resigned from the Board of SACFC at the end of last season. Uncle Urchin is not, and never has been, a member of the Board at Hornchurch FC.

 

I couldn't possibly comment about your chap at Cressing Road. Is George Borg still there? Did you ever make enquiries of The Supporters Trust stuff?
