Only, if it's nice, I'd quite like to get an XL away shirt before the Sutton game in 10/11 days time.

The shirts were meant to be on display last Tuesday but there seems to have been a technical hitch.

They were hanging up outside the club shop. One of each. They were numbered, so I assume they were from the team's set. Whispering James Alexander Gordon on the P.A, said something about orders could be taken at the shop.

 

The chap who runs the club shop said something about the replicas being available in bulk within the next week or so.

I meant the team kit, AFF. The new stuff was away being altered or something which is why I couldn't get any photos, and why the team turned out in the old strip. Well, what was left of it, plus some from the club shop but that's another story entirely.

Ah, the good old days. Last game of the season, loyal fans allowed into the changing room, given the shirts still covered in the blood and sweat of fallen heroes, going home happy still loving SACFC.

 

Robbie Haworth's number 7 shirt from that season has pride of place in TBCEFM's wardrobe. Glory days indeed.

What are the chances of me getting an away shirt (previewed first, of course) in time for the Sutton game?

 

I recall Chas Farny kindly dropped one round to me at work a couple of seasons back.

Also, if I do finally get my shirt, is it worth me getting anyone's name printed on the back of it, or would it be more than likely that any player I've chosen will probably appear to have severed all ties with the club by the time the shirt returns from the printers??
