Do we know that the game is definately on.

 

Don't have access to local paper, and the official site is not exactly inundated with team news .

You would think a bit of an effort would be made by MFC to cultivate interest in the playing side or are we just embarrassed .i hope not .

 

It does not cost anything to put something about the game on the official site,and ok not many may travel to Tonbridge on a weekday summer evening for a friendly, but it may encourage a few more to go to the Bognor game when it counts and stimulate interest.The next thing the club will complain that no -one is turning out to support.

(or is that a deliberate ploy-you do begin to wonder unfortunately)

 

Anyway ,trust it can be confirmed that game is on, and we have 11 players, as i always like to fit in one pre-season game and i don't really want to make a two hour drive to Tonbridge from Portsmouth just to enjoy the english countryside(ok so what if i am mad).

Oh and by the way-lift offered to any Margate (or Tonbridge) supporters in Portsmouth area on Tuesday night)

The game is listed on the official site. What else can they say about it? As for team news, CK (quite rightly) likes to keep his cards close to his chest as regards signings.

Most companies with a product to sell(a football match) try and generate some interest in their product,and in this case it could be done for free.

Where would any club be without its "hardcore loons", especially at times like this for us ? I for one salute them for their willingness and ability to support the team wherever whenever.

Agree, but you need to whet peoples appetite so that by the time the Bognor game comes around they cannot resist the urge to go to the main game.
