Gavin leaves the Urchins

Gavin McGowan (pictured below) has signed for Ryman Premier club Braintree Town.

 

Gavin joined the Urchins in September 2002 and was instrumental in the clubs promotion both to the Ryman Premier, and then into the Nationwide South.

 

The club would like to thank Gavin for his service to the club during the last two seasons, and wish him all the best for his future career.

well I signed Gav and talked him into coming to the urchins and he's been great....

 

those surging runs into the opposition box will always excite the fans and I trust and hope that Gav enjoys good times at Braintree.....
