A bad dream .....the Council running the team

Last night was hot and I started to dream...................Spooky music.....picture resolves to the Council Chamber......

 

Order, Order, - I call this meeting of the Football Commission to consider the agenda.

 

Motion Number 1

 

That this council approves the new Slough Chant "Slough is Fab, Slough is Great, Slough will score another eight" and that this is the only chant permitted by Slough Fans. Anyone chanting about the Council will be ejected from the game and references to Crab people are banned.

 

 

Motion Number 2

 

That this council considering the rubbish performance of the Ref last Saturday resolves that the Council records of the match be amended to show

 

1. The lino was as blind as a bat and missed the offside for their first goal and it should be expunged.

 

2. The Ref clearly missed the shove on our goalie and that the second goal should be expunged.

 

3. It was definitely not a handball by Veli as he scored in the second half and the goal should be allowed.

 

4. Records show we won 1-0 not lost 2- 0

 

Motion number 3

 

Administration

 

Sub Motion 3A

 

That this council should institute a Magic Golden Goal ticket where the time is changed to the time of the first goal and that this ticket shall be held by the Commissioner for Football, who may keep any winnings.

 

Sub Motion 3B

 

This council resolves that the seats in the directors box should be allocated on a basis of the distribution of the Parties at the last election

 

Motion 4

 

Team Selection

 

That this council resolves that team selection shall be a matter for the Cabinet and that each member of the team shall be properly proposed seconded and voted upon to ensure a list is given to the manager before each match.

 

Amendment proposed by Councillor Janik

 

That this council shall select at least two residents from the Britwell to play in the team in each game

That this council acknowledges that Ryan Spencer is Conference Quality and shall be selected for every game.

That this council is concerned about the defensive tactics being employed and that the Manager be instructed to play 6-3-1 until further notice

Team Motivation

 

That this council resolves that there should be real pride in playing for Slough and that the half time talk should be given by a member of the Cabinet each Game to ensure maximum motivation

 

Motion 7

 

Results on Saturday

 

This council believes that given the rubbish performance of teams from Labour controlled Boroughs, resolves that the team shall win by at least four clear goals on Saturday and that Ian Hodge shall be instructed to get a hat trick.
