Former Player Movements

I've seen a couple of familiar names on the move in the last couple of days.

 

Anthony Howard has followed the Hendon manager and a number of their squad to AFC Wimbledon.

 

Gary Austin who was with us at the start of last season is trialling at Northwood.

 

I can confirm that Sam Shephard who played in midefield for the second half last night against SYCOB has come from Oxford City. This is what is mentioned about him on NonLeagueDaily

Meanwhile, City defender Sam Shepherd has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Slough Town.

It probably comes as no surprise to see that Mark Bartley has gone to Burnham

I've seen somewhere that Byron Bubb is now back in the Steve Browne family at Hemel, along with Dean Palmer. Shame they are doing so badly <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Added to that the deadline day loan of Craig Rocastle from Chelsea to Hibs. Doubtless he will be a star in the Scottish top flight given that it is about akin to Ryman Div One.

No further player movements can take place after 31st March 2004 under League Rule

 

Told them about 3 weeks ago it was time to update and they said nothing happens till the season starts - looks like it will be a long season

Are you on some sort of crusade to bore the life out of everybody Paul? The Ryman League website is cack and always has been

And will remain so as long as you accept it. The only way to get improvements is to complain long and loud. There is an agency who do the work and it is clear they need to be challenged at every opportunity

I know Gary and Roy have tried to get them to add Slough Town to the links page for the best part of two years - really they aren't worth bothering with.
