Barnet fare

Recommended Posts

latest news from the Bees;

Alex Meechan, who played against Barnet last season for both Dagenham and Redbridge

and Forest Green Rovers, lines up in Paul Fairclough's squad playing St Albans City

on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old forward, who joined Dagenham from Forest Green in the 2003 close season,

came off the bench as the Daggers beat the Bees 5-2 last August; he then played at Underhill

in Barnet's 5-0 win when he returned to Rovers.

Also on view at St Albans will be 21-year-old central midfielder Sam Swannell, Watford's

reserve team captain last season and a graduate of the Vicarage Road academy. He has played

on trial with Colchester United since leaving Watford at the end of his contract last month.

Former Exeter City midfielder Dwane Lee, who played against Ipswich Town last week, is also

expected to play, but manager Paul Fairclough said that the Frenchman Mikael Llorento, who

played 90 minutes against AFC Wimbledon, and former Luton Town forward Stuart Douglas, who

played the second half, had moved on.

As for us, anybody wanna play in goal?

Any news of former Saint Ben Strevens, Rob?

Perhaps the Supporters Club could do a raffle thingy where anyone who draws a number ending in '1' could have 10 minutes between the sticks for the Mighty Saints tonight.

EFMTFTV: Your appearance was post-season, wasn't it?

GHA: 90 minutes played, 8 goals conceded.

EFMTFTV: 3 minutes played, 1 goal conceded.

Laz, I also played for the reserves against Boreham Wood, conceding only a penalty. Brought off for Phil Church at half time, who then let in 4. So no, my ratio shouldn't be 7 in 45.

Gertcha, I was beaten by the legendary Danny Jones, Miguel De Souza (2), Gary Crawshaw (2), Steve Darlington and Rocky Baptiste. Oh, and some has-been from B Wood.
