Britwell estate

Chris,

 

I am a season ticket holder for slough and also live on the Britwell. Your comments and some of the others on this site about Britwell have really got my back up. I lived in Wexham for many years and have now lived in Britwell for 17 years, apart from a few small areas it is no different from any other estate in Slough. It is not going to help the relationship with the people of Britwell or getting a football club built if you keep knocking the estate. SO PACK IT IN!!!!!

Sue ... Can't help thinking Britwell is Dead on the new project front....Janik has done his work and we are going to have to live without our vision for Britwell and the lose of our football team , unless we all see sense within the next few days.... it maybe all over....

 

facts are facts ..... if we are not wanted ...by the people of Britwell , there is nothing we can do about it....anymore...its just a shame...that so much hate was put around by the few , that we are all holigans and will bring our own problems to the area with congestion and traffic problems....let alone the things that could help...

I was and have been upset at the way that some have been slagging our club off and its supporters at the 2 recent meetings at the town hall....

 

I know it does not make it right !

 

However the seeds were sown , by the BILLD group and by their own account in all their pre election news letters....about social and housing and lack of faclities for the youngsters, and the re generation things required for Britwell and other problems in you neck of the woods....it was nothing made up by us....

 

We are not wanted....so I have to say The Britwell project looks dead in the water....it is a shame for all parties...becuase we needed the Britwell residents to adopt our club and I am sure all the hype and miss trust would have been dispelled and it would have been a team effort to put Slough and Britwell back on the map ...

Sorry I just feel so angry about the way people talk about Britwell, the councillors havn't helped with their comments I know, perhaps its their way of trying to get more money for parks and flowers and somewhere for the fair to come twice a year. Anyway I'm with you in the end lets just try and keep our football team going.

I think deep down you know where Chris was coming from Sue, Britwell isn't the nicest of areas in Slough, at least parts of it. With your final sentence, you've hit the nail on the head, the thing that brings us all together (tomorrow night, can't wait!) STFC.

 

Here's hoping to a brighter and more secure future somewhere back in the borough!
