Ramsgate v Margate

Good report "cookie", the only piece i cant agree with is no17. He was sharpe, tricky very strong in defending his position,a bit like Manny in the way he dug is heals in and turned a no win situation to a home freekick.(maybe ian pullman could watch and learn). In the end the result does'nt matter the class was there. The best of luck to the Rams this season let's hope they get promotion. The only critisism i have is they let load mouthed so called fans wander around, boozed up with drinks in there hands. Nice to be back. Come on the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE

I agree with everything thats been said really thought we played ok seeing as that was our first and ramsgates third pre-season game. The fitness showed in the second half.

Ramsgate looked much better than the last few times i'd seen them down to jimmy ward i guess.

It was just so good to see a margate team playing after all the turmoil over the last year or so.

I cant ask for anymore.

Also enjoyed some bloke cheering for siggy when one of our unknown subs came on <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

[color:"blue"] Yes the Rams did look sharp, and a little more organised than us. We could really do with another match midweek & another on Saturday .. but have to wait until a week tomorrow.

Interesting to see CK have a long chat with Mo after the game - but I do believe he's just signed a new contract for the Rams - shame, he looked impressive and would thrive in our League.

Agree with everything that has been said. Really was just great to see a team playing in Blue and White again and they looked pretty decent. Love to know if there's any word on Venter - might of course just be on holiday or something simple. Number 3 (Green?) was particularly impressive and looked influential, 6 (Hammond?) and 12 (Benvides?) weren't shabby, Keister had a dodgy start and a few red mist moments but overall put on a good show - looking forward to next installment - hopefully I can get to Ashford on 7th August.

was at the game... on the phone, great to hear some people have stayed on, what loyalty. main thing is we're playing, id rather play 42 and lose 42 then not play at all, cos the weekends would be [***!!***]! heres to signing a few more local lads... and victor ighedosa, imagine JJ trying to shout that as he scores a goal for the Gate. Yonder and hence forth... (im a graduate now!)

UP THE GATE.

Congratulations on graduating, John! Now you have the rest of your life to work in ... enjoy!

If we can keep the main part of the core team that played yesterday, and sign some likely lads, and put together a coherent defence, I think we could be in for some exciting matches this coming season.

And anyone can dream - please can we have our Watson back?

Agree that Watson would be sensational success in conf south.

(maybe CK will'do a sodge'and sign him back on after first game of season after he does not get signed up elsewhere)
