Canv- why don't you organise an all-male race to raise awareness for men's cancers, if their lack of profile annoys you? i'd give money and I don't think it would be chauvanist at all, after all cancer affects more than just the person who's actually ill, it affects those around them as well- i've got a brother and a dad and if they ever got testicular cancer I''d want the most up-to-date treatment there is. And I don't see how you can ever describe any cancer cahrity as being 'hugely over-funded', especially when you consider the lottery style allocation of cancer treatment.

 

Actually, come to think of it I think that's a really good idea- having some sort of local event to raise awareness. like a charity football match or something?

nope.. we will do what we always do.. not fking moan about it and expect to be treated fairly in a system that we( being blokes) mainly pay for and expect to get a fair service.. without having to wear some fking stupid ribbon or burst into tears on telly or have 'exclusive' walks round parks which would be banned anyway...

..

if claire wants to do the 3.1 miles at a run with 'no stopping' ill pay 100 quid into a charity of my choice.. she has 7 weeks to get up to speed.. i have zero int in a load of birds walking round a park with tee shirts on extracting even more money for something i pay shiteloads for already
