OK, i have my first race in 7 weeks and i havn't even started training for it yet!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

 

Now, i have already got some sponsors (but no way near enough!!!!!) for me to run a 5K mile around Hyde Park on September 5th!!!!!!! Anyway, anyone one who would like to Sponsor me (i'm raising money for Lukemia Research!!!!!!) please let me know and i shall put you down on my sponsor form!!!!!!!!! I already have £95 worth of sponsors!!!! I want at least £200!!!!!!!!!!

 

Well tonight i take the plunge and will put on my tracky bottoms and t-shirt and have ago at running around the fields in Markyate!!!!

 

Maybe Monday i'll take another butchers at the gym (which is literally next door to my work!!!!) and one which i have not been to since February!!!!!!!

Well it's for the Leukaemia research at Great Ormond street, but thats who i am rasing money for!!!!!

if it was anything other than the folowing then i would..

1. great ormond street.. these bk n fronts have more money than the ministry of defence.. every other charity do involves this lot who use thier 'think of the kiddies' style fund raising to muscle out loads of other equally worthwhile childrens charities

2. any thing to do with womens breasts.. same as above, hugely over funded and with much higher profile than the equally worthy charities for mens prostate or bollock cancer

3. HIV in this country.. after the intial cases this totally preventable disease has consumed a huge percentage of NHS funds in proportion to the amount of people affected.. if its an AIDS charity for africa then count me in..

I'm doing this for research into how to cure Leukaemia. It's a charity that is close to my heart, and one that i want to raise loads of money for. At the moment there is no innitial cure, apart form bone marrow transfer and radiotherapy treatment, which doesn't necessarily cure the disease.
