Im seein all these new faces on the forum as in Christian metcalfe and defenders etc.

 

I agree these are good signings but shouldnt we try to replace tony boot. I know we have matt miller but i dont rate him that much on what ive seen of him. Also matt seedal needs to develope still.

 

In my opinion we need to get back someone like sammy who i thought was a gr8 player and surely now we are in a higher div than boreham wood he would come.

 

I know some people would call him a traitor but then so are Ryan Williams, Veli hakki etc.

 

What do you lot think?

We have a good team under Eddie, I don't think Sammy really knows anything other than to play for Sammy.

From the little I saw of the two Matts, both have the potential to fill the void left by Tony. Perhaps some confidence-building (and target practice?) will help? Perhaps also the fact that they will not be playing in Tony's shadow, so to speak.

 

Give the team time to gel again, as it did earlier this year, and we'll see what happens.

 

[Also, wasn't Sammy the recipient of a higher-than-average wage packet? Might be beyond our more modest means??]

In any event I don't think Denton would want to sign Sammy back, we have a fairly settled squad and I think he'll 'promote' Matt Seedal into the first-team fray. There were also rumours that Winston is on rather more money than other Boreham Wood players so may not fit in with Eddie's budget.

Both they would score loads!!! Think Matty Seedel is going to be a big star this year and hope the Milfer can start finding the net again!

Echoing Chris's comments, I predict big things for Matt Seedel this year and feel he will do as good a job, if not better, than Boot did last season.

 

With him and Miller we have two very good and very different partners for Hodgey.

yeah if u lot say ill go with that because the only time ive seen matt seedal was on two occasions one at worthing and against croydon and agree he will be big but i think we still need another striker for this season because i think matt miller is going the same way as andy deaner.
