Apologies for the delay of this short report - small problem with getting access to the internet.

 

Bohemians started strongly but we gradually got ourselves into the game and Kirk Jackson headed against the bar. Just as we seemed to be wearing them down they broke strongly with a few minutes to go until the break and took the lead. Two minutes later Paul McCarthy shot against the post.

 

We had most of the possession in the second half but Bohemians defended well and their goalkeeper had a reasonably quiet time as did Ashley Bayes. The home side rarely broke into our half and although they were not lucky to win, a draw may have been a fairer result.
