The Dinosaurs do it just to p*ss us off. No fixture on the first day, is that pure coincidence, I don't think so. Look at our previous fixtures from last year. We have never played you guys twice on a Saturday yet, in what should be the biggest crowds of the season.

Presumably we only play each other twice, as nothing to the contrary has been announced, so there are only 28 league games.

 

OK fine, but then why are there midweek games in the first two weeks of the season?

 

Unlike the Great War, the league really will be over by Christmas!

I agree with you whole heartedly oh transparent one. I would like to think that the relics have revamped the cup competitions, but don't hold your breath.

I'd even be more p***ed off if I was a Brentwood fan....almost a sixth of your league season will be over by the end of August! How long has it taken them to sort this mess out?

If Bubbles put on his stewards Jacket he would'nt need any consessions at all ,I still don't quite understand the point our larger than life friend is trying to make.

Can we clarify a point here. Stewards pay to enter home games. So do those in the Jets Hanger, Supporters shop, etc.

I stand corrected andy, I can now see why people arent so keen to volunteer as matchday helpers, I think I'm Right in saying that Bubbles may have a point after all.

All fans, members, stewards, directors, pay to get in it is the price we all pay in order to have a team that can win matches. No money no budget, no budget then no club. It is always more preferable to have cheerful givers within our club. We help because we want our club to succeed and look professional not because we expect something for nothing.

 

The directors recognise the important role of the stewards and contribute to a fund for each home match to buy them a drink in the Boardroom when they have finished their duties in recognition that they are special and highly valued within our club structure.

No thanks, I don't Fancy Being sworn at in the car park by Brimmo Boys, And just for the record I have been a steward at the old Enfield club, And even they can let thier stewards in Without charge. It is a shame that the club can't Let a small amount of people in when they give up thier personal time as matchday helpers. Sorry if I have appeared sarky Bubbs as I never realised that E T F C stewards had to pay an entrance Fee.
