It's like having our very own Janik!

Roge, in response to your question (kinda), I share your concern. Should we not be focusing though on what we can utilise the trust to do for the club now it has been established to help us move forward or should we focus on negative points from the past and drag ourselves down?

At the AGM for the appointment of the trust board, there was time for open questions regarding the trust, why was this not raised then in full view of the new board, and face to face with those who were instrumental in the construction of STST, namely Mike Lightfoot, Chris Sliski, Colin Atkins and Alan Harding.

As each football club is different, so is the formation of each trust. I don't disregard your comments or questions, but surely you can appreciate that within our band of supporters, volunteering with assistance on a number of matters is not always forthcoming. Perhaps it was different at Merthyr? Perhaps the situation was more critical and required the trust to be formed urgently? There are many circumstances which could lead to very different formation times.

I can't give you the definite answer you are craving, but would you not agree there are more pressing issues at hand this week?

For what its worth Roger, I'm curious about why things did not appear to progress very quickly when setting up STST, but that is not high on my priorities at the moment. The next two days could well decide the future of the football club, or at least go a very long way to dictating where we end up. As such, asking questions about the speed of Merthyr's trust being established seem irrelevant and counter-productive. As Gary said, this could have been raised at the AGM last month.

Wouldn't you agree that for the moment at least, all efforts from both the Trust and its members should be focussed upon the real issue at hand - discussing with the council where we go from here and securing the future of Slough Town Football Club.

Roge, I can't win can I? I say one thing and you get upset, I respond to the best of my knowledge with a detailed answer and you get upset. Tell me what exactly I should be answering with as either of my responses, one in jest, one serious, appear to fail to meet your expectations.

The way things are going i think the Trust will come into its own over the next couple of months -especially if it involves fundraising and raising the profile of the clubs plight.

As Trust members its up to all of us to get involved as much as poss - anyway i'm sure they'll be time over the next few weeks while we're standing outside the Town Hall to have these sorts of discussions and a chance to thrash out ideas/complaints etc

Total agree with BR as we have a trust in place with all the correct structure and legal footings to move the club forward.

Other trusts were probably set up in haste due to their curcumstances.

We have a dueley elected and representative board who the council cannot question, that represent the fans of the club.

Lets all get behind the trust and make sure the club has a future.
