Absolutely no idea whether you have signed anyone I am afraid.

Our squad is looking fairly settled, touch wood, lost one player to Dagenham and a few others have been released. But most of those from last year are still around.

Unfortunately, we have bigger problems with the council/ground. Would be grateful if you would spread the word and get people including your good self to sign the guestbook at www.sloughtownfc.net

How many do you think you will get for the Arsenal game? Any whipspers on their likely team? Anyway best of luck for the new season.

Erm. The Arsenal game we are expecting a capacity crowd which is just over 4000, i no there is tickets left, if anyone is interested? Just no Slough songs please. Im not sure what team it is but in the past we have had Anelka, Berkamp, Edu and co there so i reckon there will be a few first teamers.

Probably youngters and players who didnt play in Euro 04, like Reyes maybe?? Van Persie?

They are also bringing the Premership trophy, and so are the Arsenal ladies!

Speaking on nonleaguedaily - bwood supporter, here is some news for you

Southern League Division One East club Boreham Wood's pre-season campaign will kick off

belatedly at Meadow Park on Saturday, following the cancellation of a scheduled match on Tuesday.

Wood are looking forward to two home matches in quick succession, after their game at Edgware Town was called off because the pitch was not suitable for play.

They host Nationwide Conference South title-favourites Hornchurch on Saturday.

Wood reported back for training on July 1st with six new signings. Marvin Samuels from Harlow Town, Danny and Nick Cowley from Hornchurch and Tilbury respectively, speedy striker John Coley from Arlesey Town, Adam Shafer (pictured) from Wingate & Finchley and Stuart Lochhead from Hitchin Town have all been added to the squad by manager Ian Allinson.

Goalkeeper Noel Imber, striker Sammy Winston, who scored 41 goals last season, and centre back Ryan Moran have all been retained. Defender Fergus Moore and Nick and Dominic Grime are also back at Meadow Park.

Pat Gradley, Robbie Kean, Deji Davis, Gary Dixon and Joe Baker have all been released.

Allinson said: "I'm looking to work with a quality squad of no more than 15 players. The strength of our reserves and our younger players will mean I can promote youth into the squad when required."

Good old Fergus "show us yer ar$e" Moore.... Thought Bwood were reducing their wage bill last season? Has Danny boy had a change of mind again?

Remember having an email from Adam Shafer season before last about a comment in a match report regarding him being sent off. Poxy git. Threatened legal action so we had to remove it.
