Council Meeting Thursday?

I gather there is an emergency Cabinet meeting this Thursday at the Council to discuss the issue. It is a public meeting so I might go and watch them hammer the last nail in the coffin.

 

Do we need to add this to the list of meetings to lobby? can anyone find out the time?

The meeting has been clarified by Councillor Janik as only having one topic on the agenda, which is not the football club. Make of this what you will, but I've already alerted Chris S about this meeting after reading what George Davidson had to say

The meeting is about the closure of the Thames Valley Infants School. The public and Press are excluded.

Normally, a local Council will only hold a Council meeting 'in camera', if the meeting is not 'in the public interest', or is of a matter which requires confidentiality.

 

I don't think the closing of a school falls into either of these two catergories.

 

I am always 'suspect' of Council's who insist on 'camera' meetings !
