At the town all us older folk were down cutting the grass or working on the other pitch preparation this Sunday. To see us working on the mowers it looked for all the world like a scene from Last of the Summer Wine. With Smiler getting the Lawn mower started on one pull very impressive.

 

It was a lot of fun and full marks to all those who have worked so hard to give us such an improved pitch to play on well done.

 

We missed Nora Batty (alias Southport Junior)!
